Who We Are

Pet Scoopers began in 2025 as extension of a lifetime of service. We believe that assisting people in maintaining a safe and healthy backyard, and reducing the stress of pet waste removal helps dog lovers love their dogs more. We ensure and provide for this safe environment, which helps bring more love to flow through this world.
Owner, Jim McStay, has been singularly devoted to the care and well-being of others from the onset of adulthood, from working as CNA in nursing homes, for people with disabilities, as counselor in residential treatment, and as a public school teacher. Through a BA degree in Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University, to a Masters in teaching philosophical inquiry to children in a circle pedagogy, Jim appreciates the practice of love through service, honor, courage, and a willingness to roll up the sleeves and go into the places many people fear or resist or avoid.
As Pet Scoopers grows, we look forward to alleviating the burden of this unpleasant chore from people who are disabled, elderly or less mobile, or simply too busy with their families, or who prioritize other activities and imperatives more highly. We look forward to growth in our service family, employing those with a similar mission of service to their community.
